Emerald - Domestic Longhair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Campbell River Branch Animal ID: 529387 Birthdate: May 31, 2020 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Female Emerald is a very petite girl who has not had the greatest start to her life. She came to us after a good samaritan was able to catch her and her kittens, as she had been left behind by her previous family. She is friendly but scared of people if they are too loud. Emerald likes everyone to be at her level, and prefers if you give her space and time to make up her mind when she will come to you. Once she decides you are ok, she will rub up against you, purr and rolls over for head scratches. She is not fond of being held but will lay down beside you....if it's her choice. Once Emerald settles into her new home, she will be great company to her new human. With her being scared of noises and the unknown, we would recommend that she be an indoor kitty only to keep her safe.
