Came across the Pacific from China to Vancouver in the late 1930's. In pretty solid condition considering its age. Galvanized metal interior is in good condition other than for some rust on the bottom inside, hence the styrofoam bottom covers. The bottom of the trunk is still solid wood. Four wooden corner risers keep the trunk 3/4" off the ground. Bone dry inside. Snug fitting, well-crafter lid so Insect and animal resistant. Good for seasonal storage of blankets, sleeping bags, sheets, shoes or food supplies and other dry goods. Interior if 18.5" X 33.5" and 15" deep. Outside dimensions are 21" D x 36" W X 18.5" H. Watco Danish Finishing Oil is included (1/3 tin) to complete the colour restoration of all sides.
