Coastal Bull Cook Required The Role: We are looking for an energetic, driven individual who is interested in joining our growing company, The Bull Cook position amongst our team is a vital role. You will be working with and directly supervised by the Camp’s Chef. You will be responsible for some food preparation, as well as maintaining a clean healthy and sanitized camp. Organization and a strong work ethic will be key to succeed in this roll. 1. Food & Kitchen Assistance a. Assists in serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. b. Follows guidelines for proper safety and sanitation in kitchen. c. Welcomes crews and guests including assisting with their orientation upon arrival by plane and boat 2. Facility (Cleanliness and Maintenance) a. Provides clean up and sanitization after mealtimes. b. Participates in regular cleaning of all kitchen equipment. c. Ensure all surfaces are regularly sanitized according to the COVID-19 protocols. d. Manages all camp cleaning. e. Ensuring common areas, linen room, laundry room, and stock room are clean, organized and orderly. f. Creates and follows a camp cleaning schedule, including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping all floor surfaces. g. Sanitation of bathrooms & toilets to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness. h. Cleaning rooms, dusting, making beds, changing bedding and removal of garbage. i. Provide laundry services, ensuring an adequate supply of clean linen, towels, and crew uniforms. Skills Required: • Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely and professional manner, which is accurate, complete, and of good quality. • Leads by example and with integrity. • Ability to work effectively, while remaining calm, when under pressure. • Ability to follow direction and seek guidance when necessary. • Mentally and physically fit with the ability to lift 50 lbs. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Holds a high standard of cleanliness. Experience Required • Food-Safe Level 1 required Note * Your accommodation and food are provided, wages are to be negotiated based on experience. $200-$250 / day benefits package after 90-day trial
