Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Selling lots of good items, some free with purchase, click on my photo for listings. Excellent condition. This is vintage 1940’s so it is 80 years old! Barrel shaped, old English hunting scene. There’s a few listed on the famous auction sites for $130-$200 with shipping. It holds 4.25 measuring cups, 34 ounces o the top. “Teacups” are considered as 6 oz so it’s a 5 cup teapot. These teapots were made long before the advent of the stainless steel infusers used now, so they don’t fit in this smaller rectangle opening. It would accommodate a small tea ball. People used to just use tea leaves directly into the teapot! Certainly teabags work fine, As shown in the last photo on the inside of the opening on the edge are two small smooth chips. Price reflects and with the lid on it’s covered. Otherwise it’s perfect, no damage or cracks. A treasure! Very clean and no stains.
