Community Support Worker Organization: Valley Integration to Active Living Society Position status: Casual Position Membership: Union Membership (BCGEU) Wage: $19.45 /hour PLUS 10.2 % in lieu of benefits Our Goal We are seeking individuals to fill shifts (days, afternoons and overnights) on a casual basis. Job Summary The Community Support Worker is responsible for a continuum of services for people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness and their families. The Community Support Worker provides personal care assistance and support to clients and their caregivers/families to promote and maximize independence in the group residence, community and home setting. This includes assistance with activities of daily living and delegated transfer of function tasks, as directed and in accordance with established plans of care.
