About this role We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager/ Estimator to join our Service division in the Burnaby office. Here’s how your role will strengthen our team. Your responsibilities * Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI’s, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O&M manuals. * Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders. * With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance. * Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation. * You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors. * Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing. * Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.Your experience and skills * 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience. * Basic understanding of contract law, project management and estimating * Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset * Proficient in MS Office. Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and overall match to the position offered.
